Won't You Kill My Neighbor
I am sorry I never posted on my movie poster idea and concept. My idea was a film that tied media ownership into a bloody love story.
The main characters would be the beloved Mr. Rogers, from the popular PBS program, and Annette Funicello, one of the most popular mouseketeers from the Mickey Mouse Club. Mr. Rogers and Annette fall in love, as people do, and their love is not accepted my Walt Disney and his empire. Walt Disney forbids Annette from ever seeing Mr. Rogers because Walt feels he owns Annette, and the two's love affair would be bad for sales, so he locks up Annette in the famous Magic Kingdom Castle. Mr. Rogers, with the help of some of his make-believe friends, devise a plan to storm the castle, rescue Annette, and finally put an end to the Disney tyrant and his evil empire.
The underlying theme of this movie would be that public broadcasting companies need to control more of the media industry. The "public" needs to come together and take away the overwhelming power that corporate companies like the Disney Corporation have on the media market. Making the world more public and less corporate will save society!
