Unlike my peers who have more fantastic ideas about movie posters, I have decided to present something that is more realistic. My ideas comes from a real story which to was incredibly moving. An elderly man who earned a living by driving a pedicab (a kind of tricycles) had donated all his savings of 50 thousand dollars to poor children. There are more than 300 children who were supported by the man in some aspects. The old man was very poor as well, but he continued to donate what he earned from driving the pedicab in less than twenty years until he was almost 90-year-old. One day in a winter, he went to a teacher to donate 70 dollars, and told the teacher that probably it was the last time to donate because he was too old to drive. He eventually passed away three years later.
There are thousands of poor people including little kids who have to suffer from starvation, disease, poverty, injustice, and so on. For me, the world will not by saved by any politicians, organizers, or even any heroes, but by common people like that elderly man. Therefore, I plan to make a poster about his story.
On my poster, the top half will be presenting four poor kids, and audience can tell their emotion from their faces, then the elderly man who is driving the pedicab appears at the bottom part with an urban background. I am still thinking about the title and welcome any suggestions.
This is awesome.
