The come back of a successful movie genre from the past: Inspiring teachers.
In a fresh new perspective of how teachers can shape the minds of a generation, a biology professor shows his upper-class, consumerist young college students the importance of preserving the natural resources and creating a self-sustainable world.
The main character is inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer in "Dangerous Minds" (1995) and Sidney Poitier in "To Sir with Love"(1967), and the main student characters are inspired in the personalities of the main characters of "The Breakfast Club" (1985) - the criminal, the jock, the kook, the brain, and the princess.
After months of trying to persuade his students of the importance of preserving the environment with no luck, a storm destroys their city and they realize that if they don't take action to change things, their future children will not have a habitable planet Earth. So with the assistance of the inspiring teacher, the students help to rebuild their city and spread the word around about how to use clean energy to avoid the increase of CO2 in the atmosphere.
The poster will show the Professor in the foreground, the silhouette of the students filled with environmental friendly pictures (like windmill towers) and words layered behind him, and in the background we see the city destroyed by the disaster.
